Photo etching has featured in my own work for over 18 years. Over the years I have begun to create work for other designers and I now offer a complete photo etching service for jewellers, silversmiths and other design practitioners…
I am able to work from the simplest sketch or produce complex drawings to realise designs for my clients and I have also have experience photo etching 3D projects.
For makers who do their own etching, I supply ‘Photec’ masking film which has fewer restrictions than standard iron on varieties. I supply jewellers and printmakers as well as electronics designers. Contact me for more details.
On occasion I am invited to run photo etching courses at West Dean College. Whether you plan to do photo etching yourself or not, the course is designed to offer a greater understanding of the practice.
